Fall Wild Turkey Map (2011) Note for Archers: All counties are open for fall archery turkey hunting. One turkey of either-sex may be harvested during the Oct. 1, 2011 – Jan. 15, 2012, statewide archery season. Fall turkey limit is one turkey, regardless of method of take. Turkeys taken west of I-35 will not be checked. Turkeys taken east of I-35 must be checked in at the nearest open hunter check station, with an authorized Department employee, or online at wildlifedepartment.com within 24 hours of leaving the hunt site.
